Now, I am all but addicted to it. Little else to say here, so let's get started. Contents 1) Story 2) Controls 3) Items 4) Monsters 5) Modes of Play 6) General Strategies 7) ??? Vs. ??? 8) Adventure Mode 9) Unlockables 10) Legal Info 11) Credits 1) Story Not much story to this game, but then again, it's a fighting game; fighting games aren't always much for story. Anyway...an alien race named the Vortaak decide to seize control of Earth, and take all its resources for their use; to discourage the humans' resistance, they take over the Monster Island facilities, use some kind of mind control technology to control the monsters there, and unleash them on the cities of the world. However, one monster(the one you choose) manages to break free of their control(hey, it has to happen), and sets out to defeat the others, thus releasing them from Vortaak control. Once that monster succeeds in freeing the others, the Vortaak take a more direct approach, and beam your monster on board the mothership to battle their ultimate weapon: MechaGodzilla(or Mecha King Ghidorah, if you are MechaGodzilla). Once you win that battle, your monster escapes back to earth while the pansy Vortaak retreat back to the interstellar rocks they crawled out from under. 2) Controls Simple enough, these are the controls. The controls to use a move are the same for each monster(like in Super Smash Bros. Melee); the only differences are the moves themselves. Control Stick: Walk. When you aren't within a certain distance of an enemy, you'll walk around freely. When you're in range of another monster, you can walk forward, walk backward, or sidestep. In Destruction mode, you can't "lock on" to your opponent, but you can still attack him if he's bugging you. C-Stick: Move head. This makes you aim your head around. Use this to aim your beam weapon. Control Pad: Same as the Control Stick. L: Duck/Run. When you aren't moving, press L to duck. Some monsters can duck under beam attacks or thrown buildings. Hold L when moving to run. R: Jump. You can jump straight up, forward, backward, and to the side. Running jumps, obviously, give you more air and distance. B: Kick. Pretty obvious. A: Punch. Also obvious. Y: Block. You can block high and low(just hold Y to block high, and duck and hold Y to block low), but beams, projectiles, and some other attacks will still hurt you. It's also possible to stop yourself from doing an attack if you block very quickly after doing the attack. The computer does this sometimes(usually on the higher difficulties). At first I thought they were cheating or something, but I tried it myself and it does work. X: Special. You do a special attack that usually doesn't involve their hands or feet. Some monsters will still use their hands or feet, but in a different way than if you pressed A or B. Z: Beam/Projectile. Hold Z to charge your beam attack, or tap it to launch a projectile. This is what the yellow bar below your health is: energy for the beam attacks. The more you charge the beam, the more powerful and longer-lasting it is. Projectiles use a set amount of energy; you'll do the attack animation if the bar isn't full enough, but no actual attack happens. Some monsters' X attacks use energy as well. Note: Anguirus, King Ghidorah, and Rodan don't have projectiles. Mecha King Ghidorah's and MechaGodzilla's projectiles use ammo instead of energy. A + X: Roar/Rage Attack. If your Rage bar(the circular bar surrounding the picture of your monster) is empty, you'll just roar. After getting a Rage power-up, hit A and X to do your Rage Attack; this thing is powerful, and very hard to dodge, so use it as soon as your enemy is close enough. Pressing X and B will make you do a "come and get some" move, useful for taunting enemies. A + B: Grab. If you aren't near another monster, and you're near a buiding that's flashing, you can pick the whole building up and throw it at another monster. If another monster is near, you'll grab him instead. While you can walk around with the local grocery shop in your hands all day, you can only hold another monster for a few seconds before you get tired and drop your opponent on the ground(which does no damage). If you're being held, mash the buttons for the other guy to drop you faster; if you're tired after dropping them, mash the buttons to recover faster. UPDATE: I've learned from from someone(he will be kept anonymous at his request) that if you duck near a building that can be picked up, you can pick it up even if another monster is near. Why you would want to grab the building with an enemy nearby is beyond me, though, but it works. 3) Items This explains the items that can be found in a match. Unlike Super Smash Bros. Melee, which has more items than you can shake a stick at, in this game there are only four items: two to help you, and two to hurt your enemy. Item: Health Description: Looks like a green cross. Function: Restores some of your health. Not available in Survival Mode. Item: Energy Description: Looks like a yellow lightning bolt. Function: Completely refills your energy bar, and temporarily speeds up the rate at which your energy recharges itself. Also gives Mecha King Ghidorah and MechaGodzilla one unit of ammo for their projectiles. Item: Mothra Airstrike Description: Looks like a purple outline of a moth. Function: Summons Mothra to help you. Mothra attacks the enemy with her antenna beam, and keeps attacking until the round ends, or until she gets hit by a beam or projectile. When you run dangerously low on health, her beam will stop damaging you. If you're on the receiving end of her beam, hit her with your beam or projectile to make her leave. It sounds easy, but it can be pretty hard unless you have a clear view of Mothra. Item: Rage Description: Looks like a small pulse of energy. Function: This makes you go into Rage mode. In Rage mode, all your attacks do more damage, and you can overcome an enemy's resistance to a type of attack. Example: You are Megalon against King Ghidorah. You pick up a Rage Power-Up; now King Ghidorah, who is normally resistant to blunt attacks, will take regular damage from your blunt attacks, and even more damage from your edged attacks. Also, when in Rage mode(your character glows a slight red, plus the circular bar surrounding your monster's icon in the Heads Up Display is filled in red), hit A and X together to do your monster's Rage Attack. Also, though this is random, sometimes Hedorah will appear and fly around the arena, emitting his sulfuric acid mist. The mist slows down the rate at which your energy recharges itself. Like with Mothra, you can also hit Hedorah with your beam or projectile to destroy him.(although in my opinion, you would do better to focus your energy on your opponent) 4) Monsters This is, obviously, the characters section. Name: [name of monster] Description: [what monster looks like] Filmography: [movies monster has appeared in] Unlock: [how to unlock monster] Here I put some more info about the monster, as well as the types of attacks(there are three types: blunt, edged, and energy attacks: blunt is where you just basically smack them, edged is an attack that involves claws, teeth, or blades of some kind, and energy is your monster's beam and projectile attacks) they are weak or strong against. Move List Here I list each monster's moves that you do by pressing a direction(up, down, left, or right) and A, B, or X at the same time, as well as any other special moves they can do, and the type of attack it is(blunt, edged, or energy). Combos These are combos your monster can do, by pressing a button several times, or working another quick move in. Name: Godzilla 90s Description: Classic Godzilla...spines on his back like a stegosaurus, bipedal like a t-rex(although Godzilla stands straighter than most biped dinosaurs), tail almost as long as his body. Filmography: Godzilla X King Ghidorah(1991), Godzilla X Mothra(1992), Godzilla X MechaGodzilla 2(1993), Godzilla X Space Godzilla(1994), Godzilla X Destroyer(1995) Unlock: You start the game with him. Godzilla 90s is pretty much the balanced monster(as would befit any star of a fighting game): average speed, strength, and defense. His beam's range is one of the best in the game, and he's good in melee combat as well. No strengths or weaknesses against any kind of attack. Overall, a good monster for beginners. Every monster's A throw is the same, but every monster's B or X throw is different.) B: Godzilla tosses the enemy up a bit, then punches them hard, knocking them WAY up into the air. X: Godzilla twirls the enemy over his head a couple times, tosses them up, then smashes them to the side with his tail when they come back down. Rage Attack: Atomic Shockwave. Godzilla does a short hop, then stomps and sends out a large shockwave which damages or levels all buildings that get touched by it, as well as sends any unlucky enemy it touches flying. X when facing away from enemy: Godzilla swings his tail up then slams it down hard. Two potential hits, both blunt. Combos A-A-A: Godzilla punches twice, then bites(all edged). X-B: Godzilla swipes with his tail, then does his foot stomp(both blunt). Name: Anguirus Description: Like an oversized cross between an ankylosaur and an armadillo. Walks on all fours(unless he's in range of an enemy), has a horn on his nose, and his shell is covered with spikes. Filmography: Godzilla Raids Again(1955), Destroy All Monsters(1968), Godzilla's Revenge(1969), Godzilla X Gigan(1972), Godzilla X Megalon(brief appearance at the start, doesn't do any actual fighting; 1973), Godzilla X MechaGodzilla(1974) Unlock: You start the game with him. Anguirus is one of the three monsters who don't have a projectile attack. Also, when he blocks, he turns around 180 degrees and lets his back spikes do the blocking. When an opponent hits him when he's blocking, if they were punching, they'll turn in a circle and shake their hand in pain, and if they were kicking, they'll hop in a circle on one leg(like someone had stomped their foot). So if you see them using a physical attack, block, then turn around and smash them before they can recover. Eventually, they'll get smart and not make their attacks look so obvious. He takes regular damage from blunt and edged attacks, but is more vulnerable to energy attacks. Move List Down + A: Jumping slam. Anguirus jumps, then slams the enemy with his fists. Blunt. Forward + A: Horn uppercut. Anguirus uppercuts with the horn on his nose. Edged. Up + A: Grater. Anguirus jumps and flips, shredding the enemy with his back spikes. Edged. Backward + A: Nothing. Up + X: Jumping tail spin. Anguirus jumps and spins twice, whacking the enemy with his tail. Two possible hits, both edged. Backward + X: 180 tail swing. Anguirus does a 180, whapping the enemy with his tail. Edged. Z: Sonic Roar. Anguirus roars, emitting a large sonic wave from his mouth, which makes anyone it hits dizzy. Energy. Jump, then A: Anguirus jumps and lands on the enemy with his back. Edged. Jump, then B: Anguirus jumps and spins around, then kicks his enemy. Blunt. Jump, then X: Anguirus jumps and flips, slapping the enemy with his tail and landing on his back(tap B or X to attack as you get back up). Edged. After grabbing the enemy... X-B: Anguirus does a quick 360 with his tail(edged), then does his dropkick(blunt). Down + A-A: Anguirus does his jumping slam, then punches the enemy(both blunt). This is the same A attack he does when not in range of an enemy. By pressing B instead of A, Anguirus will bite the enemy(edged), and by pressing X, Anguirus will turn and slam with his tail(edged). Tap X twice more to make him slam his tail twice before turning to face the enemy(both edged). Down + B-A/B/X: Anguirus bites at his enemy's feet(edged), then either punches(blunt), bites again, or turns and slams with his tail(both edged), depending on the button you pressed. Down + X-A/B/X: Anguirus does his Tailspin(edged), then punches(blunt), bites, or turns and slams his tail(both edged). Name: Megalon Description: A beetle-like monster, with drills for hands. Has a horn on top of his head, as well as wings which he uses when he jumps. Filmography: Godzilla X Megalon(1973) Unlock: You start the game with him. His beam attack is pretty short-ranged compared to some other monsters, so if you see him charging it fully, you might be able to run away before he can release it. He can also dig underground(hold L and R), and by going under an opponent and doing the grab move, he can come up while grabbing someone, and be ready to throw them. This technique works quite well, but the time he spends underground uses up energy, and if he runs out while underground, he surfaces and gets tired. If you're the opponent, use this time to punish him for his stupidity. Megalon is vulnerable to blunt attacks, while edged and energy attacks do average damage. Move List Down + A: Root canal. Megalon spikes the enemy's feet with his drills. Edged. Forward + A: Horn uppercut. Megalon uppercuts with the horn on his head. Blunt. Up + A: Drill slam. Megalon jumps and slams the enemy with his drills. Blunt. Backward + A: Backhand. Megalon backhands the enemy. Blunt. Down + B: Foot stomp. Megalon stomps the enemy's foot. Blunt. Forward + B: "Drillstand" kick. Megalon stands on one drill, then jumps forward and kicks his enemy with both feet. Blunt. Up + B: Nothing. Backward + B: Roundhouse kick. Megalon jumps forward, does a 180 in the air, then lands on one foot and roundhouses his enemy with the other. Blunt. Down + X: Dirt spray. Megalon drills into the ground, throwing up a spray of dirt which dizzies the enemy. He will also automatically do this move if you simply tap X when close to, but facing away from, the enemy. Forward + X: Drill spin. Megalon balances himself on his drills, then spins rapidly, tripping the enemy. Blunt. Up + X: Energy blast. Megalon brings his drills back, then launches a ball of energy from his horn. Energy. Backward + X: Shove. Megalon charges his drills with energy, then shoves the enemy with them. Energy. Z: Lightning Beam. Megalon shoots a lightning beam from his horn. Energy. Tap Z: Napalm Blast. Megalon spits some napalm at the ground; if his enemy walks in it, they act like their foot was stomped(it can do the same thing to Megalon if he walks into it). Energy. Jump, then A: Megalon jumps, then spikes the enemy with his drills as he falls. Two potential hits, both edged. Jump, then B: Megalon jumps, then kicks the enemy as he falls. Blunt. Jump, then X: Megalon jumps, then dives at the enemy with his drills. Two potential hits, both edged. After grabbing the enemy... B: Megalon tosses them up, then impales them on his drill and spins it around rapidly before throwing them away. Ouch... X: Megalon throws them down, then jumps and lands on them drill-first, drilling them several times, then jumps off. Rage Attack: Black Hole Blast. Megalon draws the enemy toward him, then generates an energy blast which blows the enemy away and damages or levels any buildings around him. Combos A-A-A: Megalon punches twice, then drills the enemy(all edged). A-A-B: Megalon punches twice(both edged), then does his drillstand kick(blunt). A-A-X: Megalon punches twice(both edged), then does his dirt spray. A-B-A: Megalon punches(edged), roundhouses, then does his backhand(both blunt). X-A-B: Megalon does a hard punch(energy), then a quick punch(edged), then does his drillstand kick(blunt). X-A-X: Megalon does a hard punch(energy), then a quick punch(edged), then does his dirt spray. X-B-A: Megalon does a hard punch(energy, roundhouses, then does his backhand(both blunt). X-B-X: Megalon does a hard punch(energy), roundhouses(blunt), then does his shove(energy). Name: Godzilla 2000 Description: Take G90, shape his head a bit different, make his skin greener, make his atomic breath orange instead of blue, make the spines on his back bigger and you've got G2000. Filmography: Godzilla 2000 Unlock: Beat Adventure with Godzilla 90s There are really no differences between Godzilla 90s and Godzilla 2000, aside from their appearances. Contrary to popular belief, G2000 is not stronger or faster than G90. He also takes the same damage from the same types of attacks. Move List G2000 can do all the same moves as G90. Combos G2000 also has the same combos as G90. Name: Gigan Description: A totally messed up, um, "thing" with a single red eye, saw teeth on top of his head, fins on his back, blades for arms, and more buzzsaw teeth on his stomach, as well as single claws for toes. Filmography: Godzilla X Gigan(1972), Godzilla X Megalon(1973) Unlock: Beat Adventure with Anguirus. You can almost tell just by looking at Gigan that he is the king of edged attacks. Like Megalon, Gigan has a special move by pressing L and R together: he can teleport. He jumps into the air, then disappears and reappears closer to his oppponent. If he's close enough, he'll warp to the other side of them. Also, you can do an aerial attack immediately after reappearing. The computer-controlled Gigan likes to do this sometimes on the higher difficulties. Gigan has a very slight weakness to energy attacks, while blunt and edged do regular damage. Move List Down + A: Uppercut. Gigan uppercuts his enemy. Edged. Forward + A: Hammerclaw. Gigan does an attack similar to Godzilla's single hammerfist. Edged. Up + A: Overhand slash. Gigan jumps, then does an overhand slash. Edged. Backward + A: Foot Amputator. Gigan rears back, then scissor-slashes his enemy's feet. Edged. Down + B: Foot stomp. Gigan stomps his enemy's foot. Blunt. Forward + B: Lunging headbutt. Gigan lunges and headbutts his enemy. Edged. Up + B: Jump kick. Gigan jumps, then gives his enemy a swift horizontal kick...don't know if there's a real name for this move. Edged. Backward + B: Dropkick. Gigan jumps and dropkicks his enemy. Blunt. Down + X: Rolling scissor slash. Gigan jumps, flips in the air, then scissor-slashes his enemy's feet. Edged. Forward + X: Spindletop slash. Gigan spins around, blades extended. Use the Control Stick to move him. Four or five potential hits, all edged. Up + X: Jumping buzzsaw. Gigan jumps, flips and scissor-slashes his enemy. Two hits, both edged. Backward + X: Slugger. Gigan rears back, spins around once and smashes his enemy with his arms. Very powerful; up there with Ghidorah's dive stomp. Blunt, even though it looks like he hits the enemy with his blades. Z: Laser Beam. Gigan fires a red laser beam from his eye. Energy. Tap Z: Shotgun Blast. Gigan fires eight quick, short-range energy blasts from his eye. Very devastating if all eight blasts hit(and about the only way they will all hit is if you trap your enemy in a corner or against a building). Energy. Jump, then A: Gigan jumps, then stabs the enemy with his right blade. Edged. Jump, then B: Gigan jumps and kicks the enemy. Can only hit airborne enemies. Blunt. Jump, then X: Gigan hangs in midair for a second, then swoops at his enemy with his stomach saw spinning. Edged. After grabbing the enemy(Note: Gigan's throw will hit the enemy for a little bit of damage, if he doesn't grab them.)... B: Gigan tosses them up, then sticks his buzzsaw teeth out and spins them, while the poor enemy falls right on top of them, spinning around faster and faster until they fall off...ouch. X: Gigan tosses the enemy up, then does his Slugger on them as they fall. Rage Attack: Super spindletop slash. Gigan does his spindletop slash again, except his slashes leave a red trail instead of a gray one, it lasts longer, and does tons more damage. X when facing away from enemy: Gigan whips his claw out, hitting the enemy as he turns to face them. Edged. Combos A-A-A: Gigan punches twice(both blunt), then spins the buzzsaw teeth on his stomach(multiple hits, all edged)). A-A-B: Gigan punches twice(both blunt), then does his charging headbutt(edged). A-A-X: Gigan punches twice, then does his Slugger(all blunt). A-B-A: Gigan punches(blunt), kicks, then does his Foot Amputator(edged). A-B-X: Gigan punches(blunt), kicks, then does his rolling scissor slash(both edged). A-X-A: Gigan punches(blunt), does a spin slash, then does his uppercut(both edged). A-X-B: Gigan punches(blunt), does a spin slash, then does his jump kick(both edged). A-X-X: Gigan punches(blunt), does a spin slash, then does his jumping buzzsaw(both edged). Forward-A-A-A: Gigan does two hard slashes, then does his uppercut(all edged). Forward-A-A-B: Gigan does two hard slashes(both edged), then does his dropkick(blunt). X-X-B: Gigan does two spin slashes, then does his jump kick(all edged). X-A-A: Gigan does a spin slash(edged), punches(blunt), then spins the buzzsaw teeth on his stomach(edged). X-A-B: Gigan does a spin slash(edged), punches, then does his charging headbutt(edged). X-A-X: Gigan does a spin slash(edged), punches, then does his Slugger(both blunt). X-B-A: Gigan does a spin slash, kicks, then does his Foot Amputator(all edged). X-B-X: Gigan does a spin slash, kicks, then does his rolling scissor slash.(all edged) Name: King Ghidorah Description: A yellow, three-headed dragon with wings and no arms. Filmography: Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster(1964), Godzilla X Monster Zero(1965), Destroy All Monsters(1968), Godzilla X Gigan(1972) Unlock: Beat Adventure with Megalon. Ghidorah, obviously, can fly, but it will slowly drain his energy. He has awesome range on his beam attack, and can even do it from the air. Another interesting detail is that Ghidorah can't be hurt by Anguirus' block, unless he tries to kick him when he's blocking. Instead of holding one of his heads, he simply gets pushed away, but he can still hurt his foot. Ghidorah is strong against blunt attacks, and takes average damage from edged and energy attacks. Move List Down + A: Triple uppercut. Ghidorah uppercuts with all three heads. Three hits(the third hit knocks the enemy up), all blunt. Forward + A: Double lunge bite. Ghidorah lunges and bites with his side heads. Edged. Up + A: Nothing. Backward + A: Triple smash. Ghidorah slams with all three heads. Blunt. Down + B: Foot stomp. Ghidorah stomps his enemy's foot. Blunt. Forward + B: Nothing. Up + B: Dive stomp. Ghidorah flies up, then dives and smashes his enemy. Very powerful. Blunt. Backward + B: Kangaroo kick. Ghidorah jumps and kicks with both feet. Blunt. Down + X: Tail sweep. Ghidorah hops and sweeps the enemy with his tails. Edged. Forward + X: Tail uppercut. Ghidorah jumps and uppercuts with his tails. Edged. Up + X: Wind shear. Ghidorah jumps and flaps his wings, generating a gust of wind which drives the enemy back. Backward + X: 180 tail whip. Ghidorah jumps and does a 180, tail-whipping the enemy. Tap X again to make him swing his tail again. First hit is edged, second hit is blunt. Z: Triple Lightning Beam. Ghidorah fires three lightning beams from each of his heads. Energy.(Note: Ghidorah only fires all three beams when it is fully charged; charging it to about one-third or less makes him fire one beam, and charging it to two-thirds makes him fire two.) Tap Z(while flying): Triple Lightning Blast. Ghidorah fires a burst of his lightning beams down at an angle. Energy. Jump, then A: Ghidorah jumps, then bites the enemy as he falls. Edged. Jump, then B: Ghidorah jumps, then swoops down and kicks the enemy, comes back up, then lands. Blunt. Jump, then hold X: Ghidorah jumps and stays airborne while repeatedly flapping his wings and generating wind shears which drive the enemy back. As soon as Ghidorah runs out of energy, he falls to the ground. After grabbing the enemy... B: Ghidorah tosses them up, knocks them back up twice with his side heads, then strikes with all three heads, knocking them a good distance away. X: Ghidorah jumps up, holds the enemy with his feet, then flies up and then piledrives them into the ground. Rage Attack: Death Storm. Ghidorah jumps and hovers in the air, then spins in place twice while firing his lightning beams and generating two wind shears. A when facing away from enemy: Ghidorah suddenly whips around and smacks them with his heads. Blunt. X when facing away from enemy: Ghidorah slaps them with his tails. Blunt. Also, press A and B together when facing away from the enemy: Ghidorah will grab them with his tails and throw them away. Combos A-A-A-A: Ghidorah bites three times(all edged), then rams with his side heads(blunt). A-A-A-B: Ghidorah bites three times(all edged), then does his dive stomp(blunt). X-A-X-X: Ghidorah swipes with his tails, bites, swipes with his tails again and finishes with his tail sweep(all edged). X-B-A: Ghidorah swipes with his tails(edged), kicks, then does his triple smash(both blunt). Name: Destroyer(AKA Destoroyah) Description: A gigantic, red/maroon/magenta creature, with spikes on his knees, horns on his head and shoulders, wing/fans on the sides of his head, as well as wings on his back. Filmography: Godzilla vs. Destroyer(1995) Unlock: Beat Adventure with Godzilla 2000 Destroyer might seem a little slow and clunky compared to other monsters, but by said comparison, he is also a bit stronger. His laser blade(his X attack) is useful for plowing through enemies, but uses up his energy. His beam attack draws enemies in while damaging them at the same time, but it has a short range, so if you see him going for a full charge, run away quickly. His Rage Attack is very hard to avoid, but don't grab someone when it hits, or they won't get hit by it. He takes regular damage from blunt and edged attacks, and is slightly vulnerable to energy attacks. Move List Down + A: Uppercut. Destroyer uppercuts his enemy. Blunt. Forward + A: Headbutt. Destroyer rears back and headbutts his enemy. Blunt. Up + A: Nothing. Backward + A: Overhand slam. Destroyer jumps and does an overhand slam. Blunt. Down + B: Foot stomp. Destroyer stomps the enemy's foot. Blunt. Forward + B: Knee uppercut. Destroyer jumps forward with his knee extended. Edged. Up + B: Kangaroo kick. Similar to King Ghidorah, Destroyer jumps and kicks the enemy with both feet. Edged. Backward + B: Nothing. Down + X: Laser trip. Destroyer trips the enemy with his laser blade. Energy. Forward + X: Triple laser thrust. Destroyer thrusts three times with his laser blade. Only one hit, though. Energy. Up + X: Vertical laser slash. Destroyer does an up-down slash with his laser blade. Energy. Backward + X: 180 tail whip. Destroyer does a 180 and whacks them with his tail. Edged. Z: Micro-Oxygen Breath. Destroyer spits a beam that is a combination of oxygen and lightning. The oxygen slowly draws the enemy closer to Destroyer, and the lightning is what damages the enemy. Energy. Tap Z: Oxygen Absorber. Destroyer spits a small purple and gray blast that, when it gets in close proximity to an enemy, drags him closer to Destroyer before exploding and knocking the enemy to the ground. It can be blocked so that you don't get knocked down, but you will still flinch from it and be open to a quick attack. Energy. Jump, then A: Destroyer jumps, then punches the enemy as he falls. Blunt. Jump, then B: Destroyer jumps, then kicks the enemy upward(they fly up like he was uppercutting them) as he falls. Edged. Jump, then X: Destroyer uppercuts the enemy with his tail. Edged. After grabbing the enemy... B: Destroyer tosses them up, then blasts them with his Oxygen Absorber. However, instead of keeping them close to him, it blasts them away. X: Destroyer grabs them with his tail and tosses them away. Rage Attack: Oxygen Destroyer. Destroyer spits a small purple blast straight up, which explodes upon landing on the enemy. It can be jumped away from(I've done it myself a couple times), but it is very hard to do so. However, don't grab an enemy right before it hits, or they won't get hurt. X when facing away from enemy: Destroyer whaps them with his tail. Edged. Combos A-A-A: Destroyer punches twice, then does a quick headbutt(all edged). A-A-B: Destroyer punches twice, then does his knee uppercut(all edged). A-A-X: Destroyer punches twice, then does his 180 tail whip(all edged). B-B: Destroyer kicks twice(both edged). B-B-A: Destroyer kicks twice(both edged), then does his headbutt(blunt). B-B-X: Destroyer kicks twice(both edged), then does his vertical laser slash. X-X-B: Destroyer slashes twice with his laser blade, then does his knee uppercut(edged). Name: Rodan Description: An oversized pteranodon, basically. Filmography: Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla 2(1993) Unlock: Beat Adventure with Gigan. Rodan, defense-wise, is the weakest monster in the game. All attacks will do a bit more damage to him than other monsters. However, he is the fastest monster in the game, he can fly, and his flying speed is far greater than that of the other flying monsters. His attack strength is still up there with most of the other monsters. He takes average damage from blunt attacks, and is weak against edged and energy attacks. And on a side note...I realize that Rodan starred in his own movie(Rodan, 1956), and co-starred along with Godzilla in a few of his movies back from the 60s, but back then, Rodan did not have the heat beam he has in the game. He only gained that in G vs. MechaGodzilla 2, after he was injured by Godzilla's atomic breath. Kind of the same reason I only put Godzilla's movies from the 90s in Godzilla 90s' filmography. Move List Down + A: Uppercut. Rodan uppercuts his enemy. Blunt. Forward + A: Beak smash. Rodan smacks the enemy with his beak. Blunt. Up + A: Jumping slam. Rodan jumps and slams his enemy. Blunt. Backward + A: Hovercraft Lunge. Rodan rears back, then glides along the ground and punches his enemy with both fists. Blunt. Down + B: Jumping stomp. Rodan jumps, then stomps his enemy. Edged. Forward + B: Flying Disk. Rodan glides at his enemy while spinning, first hitting them with his wing(blunt), then kicking them(edged), then dealing a final strike with his other wing(edged). Up + B: Flip kick. Rodan jumps and flip kicks his enemy. Two possible hits, both edged. Backward + B: Trip kick. Rodan, balancing himself on his arms, sweeps both his legs in a circle, gymnast-style. Edged. Down + X: Gliding wing trip. Rodan glides forward and trips the enemy with his wing. Edged. Forward + X: Glide punch. Rodan glides forward and punches his enemy. Blunt. Up + X: Gliding heel drop. Rodan glides forward and flips forward, dropping both heels on his enemy. Edged. Backward + X: Wind shear. Rodan glides forward, then generates a gust of wind, driving his enemy back. Z: Uranium Heat Beam. Rodan spits a yellow-orange ray from his mouth. Energy. Tap Z: Uranium Blast(only while flying). Rodan fires a quick uranium beam blast. Energy. Note: Rodan's "jump, then A" attack will only hit airborne enemies. Jump, then A: Rodan punches the enemy. Blunt. Jump, then B: Rodan dives out of the sky and kicks his enemy. Edged. Jump, then X: Rodan does a big loop in the air, then lunges forward and crashes into his enemy. Blunt. After grabbing the enemy... B: Rodan swings the enemy around twice, then lets them go. X: Rodan tosses the enemy almost off the screen, then does a HUGE loop and crashes into them before they hit the ground. Blunt. Rage Attack: Nuclear Turret. Rodan spins twice while firing his uranium heat beam. X when facing away from enemy: Rodan backhands the enemy as he turns around. Blunt. Combos A-A-A: Rodan punches twice(first blow is edged, second is blunt), then hops and pecks his enemy(edged). A-A-B: Rodan punches twice(edged, blunt), then does his Flying Disk(blunt, edged, edged). A-A-X: Rodan punches twice(edged, blunt), then does his gliding wing trip(edged). Name: Mecha King Ghidorah Description: Take King Ghidorah, give him rigid metal wings, shin pads, a huge chestplate, and make his whole middle head metallic and you've got Mecha King Ghidorah. Filmography: Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah(1991) Unlock: Beat Adventure with King Ghidorah. How he can fly with those solid metal wings is beyond me, but oh well.(in the movie, he used anti-gravity to fly, so maybe he does that here as well) Mecha King Ghidorah has a few advantages over his fleshy counterpart, including tasers as his projectile(which drains his foe's energy bar), and an absorption shield as his block(which absorbs the damage from his enemy's attacks and converts it to his health). Mecha King Ghidorah now takes regular damage from blunt attacks, but his armor makes him strong against edged attacks. However, he is weak against energy attacks. Move List Same as King Ghidorah, with one exception... Tap Z: Taser(only three shots). Mecha King Ghidorah launches a couple of energy ball-looking things connected to small lines. If they hit, they drain all the enemy's energy while stunning them as well. Combos Also same as King Ghidorah. Name: MechaGodzilla Description: A Godzilla-like robot with yellow eyes and flat jaws. Filmography: Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla 2(1993) Unlock: Beat Adventure with Destroyer, Rodan, and Mecha King Ghidorah. Like Destroyer, MechaGodzilla is somewhat slower compared to other monsters, but is also stronger and has better defense. He can also fly, though like the Ghidorahs, his speed is nowhere near Rodan's. His finger rockets are similar to Mecha King Ghidorah's tasers, except they drain health instead of energy. He is, rather obviously, strong against edged attacks; blunt attacks do average damage, and he will take a sliver more damage from energy attacks than some other monsters. Move List Down + A: Uppercut. MechaGodzilla uppercuts his enemy. Blunt. Forward + A: Double hammerfist. MechaGodzilla jumps forward and smashes his enemy with both fists. Blunt. Up + A: Spiral Strike. MechaGodzilla extends his arms and rotates his torso. Multiple hits, all blunt. Backward + A: Overhand slam. MechaGodzilla does an overhand slam. Blunt. Down + B: Foot stomp. MechaGodzilla stomps the enemy's foot. Blunt. Forward + B: Roundhouse kick. MechaGodzilla jumps forward, turns his upper body 360 degrees and his lower body 180 degrees, lands on one foot and roundhouse kicks with the other. Edged. Up + B: Nothing. Backward + B: Jump kick. MechaGodzilla jumps forward and kicks the enemy with both feet. Edged. Down + X: Back blast. MechaGodzilla jumps around 180 degrees and generates a blast of energy from his thrusters. This does no damage, unless you blast them into a building; its main purpose is to get an enemy away from you, so you can escape, go for a nearby item, or ready another attack. Forward + X: Thruster ram. MechaGodzilla charges forward with his thrusters and rams the enemy. He keeps flying until he runs into something, be it a building, the level barrier, or another monster. Blunt. Up + X: Plasma Uppercut. MechaGodzilla fires his plasma grenade up at an angle, knocking the enemy off their feet and grounding airborne enemies. Energy. Backward + X: Plasma Grenade. MechaGodzilla shoots a powerful plasma blast from his chest. Energy. Z: Eye Lasers. MechaGodzilla shoots two laser beams from his eyes. Energy. Tap Z: Finger Missiles(only three shots). MechaGodzilla fires three volleys of rockets from his fingers, in groups of three. Jump, then A: MechaGodzilla jumps, lands, and punches the enemy. Blunt. Jump, then B: MechaGodzilla jumps, then kicks the enemy as he falls. Edged. Jump, then X: MechaGodzilla jumps, points himself at the enemy and flies down at them with his thrusters. Blunt. After grabbing the enemy... B: MechaGodzilla flies up, then throws the enemy down at an angle. X: MechaGodzilla holds the enemy over him, then blasts them with his eye lasers, letting the beams push them up further and further. When grabbed so they're face down, it looks like you're blasting them in the nuts. >.< Rage Attack: Full Weapon Strike. MechaGodzilla combines his fully-charged eye lasers with his finger missiles. Really painful if all of both weapons hit. X when facing away from enemy: MechaGodzilla fires a blast of energy from his thrusters, blowing away anyone behind him. Essentially the same as his down-X move, except if they're behind you, you can just press X. Combos A-A-A: MechaGodzilla punches twice, then does his Spiral Strike(all blunt). A-A-B: MechaGodzilla punches twice(both blunt), then does his roundhouse kick(edged). A-A-X: MechaGodzilla punches twice(both blunt), then does his Plasma Uppercut(energy). A-X-A-A: MechaGodzilla punches(blunt), fires his plasma grenade(energy), punches again, and finishes with his Spiral Strike(both blunt). A-X-A-B: MechaGodzilla punches(blunt), fires his plasma grenade(energy), punches again(blunt), and finishes with his roundhouse kick(edged). A-X-A-X: MechaGodzilla punches(blunt), fires his plasma grenade(energy), punches again(blunt), and finishes with his Plasma Uppercut(energy). A-X-B-A: MechaGodzilla punches(blunt), fires his plasma grenade(energy), kicks(edged), then does his uppercut(blunt). A-X-B-X: MechaGodzilla punches(blunt), fires his plasma grenade(energy), kicks(edged), then does his thruster ram(blunt). A-X-X: MechaGodzilla punches(blunt), fires his plasma grenade, then fires another, more powerful blast(both energy). Repeatedly tap B: MechaGodzilla kicks at a steady pace with both legs, about a one-second pause between kicks(edged). B-B-A: MechaGodzilla kicks twice(both edged), then does his uppercut(blunt). B-B-X: MechaGodzilla kicks twice(both edged), then does his thruster ram(blunt). X-X: MechaGodzilla fires his plasma grenade, then fires a more powerful blast(both energy). X-A-A: MechaGodzilla fires his plasma grenade(energy), punches, then does his Spiral Strike(both blunt). X-A-B: MechaGodzilla fires his plasma grenade(energy), punches(blunt), then does his roundhouse kick(edged). X-A-X: MechaGodzilla fires his plasma grenade(energy), punches(blunt), then does his Plasma Uppercut(energy). X-B-A: MechaGodzilla fires his plasma grenade(energy), kicks(edged), then does his uppercut(blunt). X-B-X: MechaGodzilla fires his plasma grenade(energy), kicks(edged), then does his thruster ram(blunt). Name: Orga Description: Has a large shell on his back, huge arms, and big, three-fingered hands. Filmography: Godzilla 2000 Unlock: After beating Adventure with all other monsters, beat Adventure again with Godzilla 2000; you'll fight Orga in the fifth round. Finish out the rest of Adventure mode to unlock him. Orga is the game's power monster; his attacks carry plenty of force and will easily knock the other monsters around, plus his beam has good range. He can shrug off blunt attacks, and takes average damage from edged attacks, while he has a slight vulnerability to energy attacks. Move List Down + A: Vertical backhand. Orga brings the back of his hand down hard on his enemy. Blunt. Forward + A: Two-hand uppercut. Orga uppercuts with both hands. Edged. Up + A: Jumping slam. Orga jumps and slams the enemy with both hands. Blunt. Backward + A: Spiral backhand. Orga backhands with such force, that he spins around and automatically performs another backhand. Two potential hits, both blunt. Down + B: Foot stomp. Orga stomps the enemy's foot. Blunt. Forward + B: Foot poke. Orga slides his foot over and pokes the enemy's foot with his toe claws; same effect as his foot stomp. Edged. Up + B: Nothing. Backward + B: Gorilla kick. Orga balances himself on his hands and swings both his feet forward. Edged. Down + X: Nothing. Forward + X: Shoulder ram. Orga rams the enemy with his shoulder. Blunt. Up + X: Nothing. Backward + X: Shell thrust. Orga turns and thrusts at the enemy with his shell; if he misses, he'll fall down. Blunt. Z: Shoulder Beam. Orga fires a yellow energy beam with pulse rings from the hole in his shoulder. Energy. Tap Z: Plasma Spit. Orga spits a green blast of.....something, which makes his enemy dizzy if it hits. Takes a hell of a lot of energy, and isn't terribly effective...don't bother with this one. Energy. Jump, then A: Orga jumps and slams the enemy as he falls. Blunt. Jump, then B: Orga jumps and dropkicks his enemy. Edged. Jump, then X: Orga jumps and falls on the enemy in a spread-eagle fashion. Blunt. After grabbing the enemy... B: Orga throws the enemy to the ground, then elbow drops them. X: Orga jumps and slams the enemy to the ground so hard that they fly a couple hundred meters up from the point of impact, flipping over once or twice before hitting the ground. Excellent combo setup. Also, after you get a Rage power-up... X: Orga spins around about three times while holding the enemy, then lets them go, sending them over halfway across the arena. The furthest throw in the game. Rage Attack: Crazy Cannon. Orga fires his shoulder cannon, then proceeds to have a spasm, flopping on the ground and firing his cannon everywhere, before standing up and generating a small shockwave. X when facing away from enemy: Orga thrusts backward with his shell. Blunt. Combos A-A-A: Orga does two backhands(both blunt), then bites(edged). A-A-B: Orga does two backhands(both blunt), then does his claw poke(edged). A-A-X: Orga does two backhands, then does his shell thrust(all blunt). Name: Versus How to Play: A simple one-on-one slugfest. You can fight the computer(they fight at the same difficulty you choose in the options) or another person. Pick your monsters, then the arena, as well as the time of day(day or night), then have at it. Name: Adventure How to Play: Standard one-player. You pick a monster, then plow through seven others before being beamed to the Mothership for a showdown with MechaGodzilla(or Mecha King Ghidorah, if you are MechaGodzilla). Name: Survival How to Play: It starts out similar to Adventure, but after MechaGodzilla/Mecha King Ghidorah is defeated, you start all over again with the first monster, and keep going through the cycle until you are defeated. There are no health powerups, period. Your health refills some after each match, but refills less and less after each match. Name: Melee How to Play: This is similar to Versus mode, except you and up to three friends are competing for points based on fighting style. If you hit with lots of powerful combos and knockdown hits, and take your opponents down quickly, you'll score big. KOed monsters respawn until the time is up, then the one with the most points is the winner. Points are given based on combos, knockdowns, and knockouts. You can't fight computer opponents in this mode. Name: Team Battle How to Play: Three or more people pick monsters, and then teams. You also fight for points in this mode. You can hit your partner, but you won't score points. Name: Destruction How to Play: Kill. Crush. Destroy. Eradicate. Annihilate. Obliterate. ...I think you get the idea. Basically, you and a friend pick monsters, and then you try to level the city you choose faster than your friend. Points are awarded based on the size of the building you destroy. You see how much the building you crushed was worth when a number the color of your monster's name rises up from the remains of the building. You can also attack the other monster if he's bugging you. If you can pick up a building, chuck it at other buildings to destroy them quicker. Also, it generally isn't a good idea to screw around with the highway near the water; it takes a lot of abuse, and since it's low to the ground, it's hard to destroy. If you manage to destroy the city before time is up, you and your friend can start going to town on each other. Here's a variation of Destruction that I made up myself: Classic Destruction. That is, you pick two monsters, go to a level, then only use your beam attack to destroy buildings(buildings that can't be destroyed just by walking into them, anyway), plus you can't run; you can only walk. You can still get power-ups and such. Some monsters' beams and Rage Attacks work better than others'. Best Beam: Rodan's Uranium Heat Beam Best Rage Attack: Tie between Godzilla's Atomic Shockwave and Megalon's Magnet Blast. 6) General Strategies These are general strategies you should employ against the monsters. They will, for the most part, work with any monster. Vs. Godzilla 90s/Godzilla 2000: Despite what others might try to have you believe, they are the same monster. Don't play a distance game with him; his atomic breath has excellent range. His Rage Attack is powerful, but it can be ran away from. On the higher difficulties, he is very hard to defeat. The only monster who gives me more trouble on the high difficulties is Orga(and sometimes MechaGodzilla). He is very good and makes few mistakes. Also, Godzilla 90s and Godzilla 2000 seem to have differences in their AI patterns. Godzilla 90s likes using the single and double hammerfists, and the overhand slam, as well as a few of his tail attacks. Godzilla 2000 uses his charging headbutt and jump kick(back + B) a lot more, but can use most of the same moves G90 can. Vs. Anguirus: Unless you are Mecha King Ghidorah, or MechaGodzilla, watch out for Anguirus' block; he uses the spikes on his back to block, and your monster will hurt himself if he tries to attack when Anguirus is blocking. King Ghidorah is partially invulnerable to Anguirus' block; if Ghidorah attacks with one or more of his heads, he won't spin in a circle gripping one of his hurt heads; he'll just get pushed away. However, he can still hurt his foot if he tries to kick Anguirus when he is blocking. Mecha King Ghidorah and MechaGodzilla won't even be pushed away if they attack Anguirus when he's blocking; they'll just take a tiny sliver of damage. Also watch out for his Sonic Roar; it'll make you dizzy if it hits you. His Rage Attack is easy to avoid; just run away when he uses it. As a computer opponent, Anguirus loves to use the Anguirus The Hedgehog(on the higher difficulties, anyway). When he does it, block it, then smash him before he can recover. Vs. Megalon: His beam attack has a relatively short range, so try to run from it if you see him charging it up. If your monster has lots of blunt attacks, this will be an easy match. Be careful when he spits napalm; it'll light your monster's foot on fire and he'll hop around in pain. However, this can also affect Megalon if he steps into it. Also, he likes to dig underground(if you're playing as Megalon, press L and R to do this) and move under you, then come up grabbing you(when you're underneath another monster, tap A and B, like you were above ground). When he starts chasing you underground, just run away from him. Eventually his energy will run out, and he'll surface and get tired. Use this time to smash him with your most powerful blunt attack. His Rage Attack hurts like hell if it hits you, but it can easily be avoided; simply run away to resist the force he generates. As a CPU, Megalon seems to know how to mix it up. He likes using the B, B, A combo and the roundhouse kick, as well as the jumping slam(up + A). Vs. King Ghidorah: This guy might give you some trouble. When he starts flying, if you have enough energy(more than half the bar full), charge your beam and shoot him down(hold R to lock on to him). If your monster has another attack that can hit airborne enemies, use it on him. His beam attack has better range than almost every other beam attack, so if you're close when you see him charging it, don't try to run; just block to lessen the damage. Also watch out for his diving stomp; it is very powerful no matter who it is used on. His Rage Attack is powerful, but it doesn't have infinite range, so if you see him using it, run away quickly. When the computer plays him, he abuses the hell out of his B, A combo, but he can use some of his other moves too. He usually doesn't get close enough for the first move or so to hit before he starts a combo, so wait and block one of his hits, then use a strong edged attack. He knows how to use his beam, though. Vs. Gigan: If you're weak against edged attacks, this guy will give you hell. He can teleport(press L and R), and even do a midair attack right after teleporting, so be careful when he does this. If he teleports near you, use your uppercut to knock him away and then charge your beam attack(if your bar is full). Watch out for his Slugger attack; even if you are strong against blunt attacks, it will still hurt bad. When he uses his Rage Attack, run away. I mean it. Gigan will devastate you if he can catch you against a building or the electric barrier. As a computer, Gigan can mix it up pretty well. He rarely uses the Slugger(probably because he knows how easy it is to see). He usually goes with the spindletop slash, jumping buzzsaw, and rolling scissor slash, as well as the hammerclaw and overhand slash. Vs. Rodan: This guy will take slightly more damage from your attacks than other monsters, but don't think he's a pushover. Not only can he fly, but he is also the fastest flying monster(as well as the fastest monster overall), plus his Rage Attack is hard to avoid and his beam attack has good range. Leave your blunt attacks in the garage if possible. When taken over by the computer, Rodan usually flies around a lot, but can mix it up fairly well when on the ground. He likes to use his glide moves sometimes, but other than that, it's hard for me to find consistent attack patterns for him. Vs. Destroyer: Two words: laser blade. While it can be blocked(you'll still flinch, you just won't get knocked down), it is difficult to evade. What's worse, if he knocks you down, he can use his vertical laser slash repeatedly before you can get back up, causing a good heft of damage. If he does this to you, there's nothing you can do but pray that your health will outlast his energy. The only thing going for you is that he is somewhat slower than other monsters. His Rage Attack is tough to avoid, and it hurts like hell. It is possible to jump away just before it lands, but it is very hard to do so. In the hands of the computer, he really knows how to use the laser blade. If you see him using the triple laser thrust, block it and smash him as he advances. He also likes to grab you if you block when he's close, but he doesn't get too close before attacking, which is good and bad. It's good because you have more time to react, and bad because he'll have time to grab you or block your attack then counterstrike. Be careful and attentive, and pick your shots carefully. Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: You can use pretty much the same strategy with this guy as you did with King Ghidorah, except you now have to remember that Mecha King Ghidorah is strong against edged attacks and takes average damage from blunt attacks. You also have to watch out for his taser and absorption shield. If you are MKG, and your energy runs out while using the absorption shield, you can still block like normal, you'll just lose health instead of gain health. Also, you can't absorb the damage from a thrown building or freeze tank; it'll still hurt you. His Rage Attack is exactly the same as King Ghidorah's, so use the same strategies for using it and avoiding it. Against the computer, he basically follows the same patterns as King Ghidorah, so use the same tactics on him, but remember to leave your edged attacks out unless you get a Rage power-up. Vs. MechaGodzilla: Like Mecha King Ghidorah, MechaGodzilla is strong against edged attacks and takes regular damage from blunt attacks. When he fires his rockets, run to the side of Mecha; they can home in on you, but they can't turn as sharply as you can, and eventually they'll run into something. His Rage Attack is ok, but it is far from the best, since you have to be pretty close to someone to hit them. As a computer opponent, MechaGodzilla is almost as tough as his fleshy counterpart. He blocks a lot, and knows how to use his beam and projectile. He also knows how to use his quicker attacks when he gets close, giving you little time to react. Plus, he will react quickly to block or stop your attacks, and then return fire.(especially if you pick up a building when he's got some energy in his energy bar) Vs. Orga: Orga is another slow and strong monster. He is also strong against blunt attacks, so a monster like Gigan would do well against him. His Rage Attack is tough to avoid, so stay away when he uses it, and don't go after him after he finishes going crazy with the beam; he'll generate a small shockwave, much like Godzilla's Rage Attack, only smaller. In the hands of the computer, Orga is a weapon of mass destruction. He is extremely hard to defeat(even harder than Godzilla); if he knocks you down and your get-up attack doesn't knock him far enough away, he will quickly attack again as you get up, which means trouble for monsters like Megalon and Rodan. He also loves to grab you when he gets close, even if you aren't blocking, so learn the motions he makes when he does his grab, and be ready to do a jumping attack when you see it coming. He seems to favor moves like his spiral backhand, jumping slam, vertical backhand(if you try to roll away from him), and both his shoulder rams. And he knows how to use those moves. Watch his every move, know which move of your own to use, keep him away from power-ups(throws work well, if you can catch him), and don't waste your chances. 7) ??? Vs. ??? These are your monster vs. monster strategies. Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah, Destroyer Vs. MechaGodzilla, etc. In a nutshell, it's how to defeat all eleven monsters with all eleven monsters. 11 x 11 = 121 strategies total. Godzilla 90s Vs. Godzilla 90s: You against yourself. Neither of you have any strengths or weaknesses, but you both have great range on your beam attacks. Don't use your atomic breath while Godzilla is up and running about; he'll see it coming a hundred miles off and quickly react, either by stopping you with his own atomic breath, or running behind a building or whatever. Perhaps the best time to use your beam is after you knock him into the air with your uppercut(regular or tail uppercut, doesn't matter which). If you can knock him down(not with an uppercut, with something like your overhand slam or double hammerfist), blast him with your atomic fireball, or if you don't have enough energy, use your foot stomp. Also, be ready to jump away when you knock him down, to avoid his get-up attack. Godzilla 90s Vs. Anguirus: Since you are neither of the Ghidorahs or MechaGodzilla, Anguirus' block will hurt you. If you knock him down with his back facing up, and then you try to attack him, you'll hurt yourself. You'll just get pushed away if he blocks one of your tail attacks, but your feet and claws don't have the same insurance. His back won't protect him from your atomic breath or fireball, though. Throws work well. When he uses the Anguirus the Hedgehog, block if he rolls into you, and he'll be wide open for an attack. Godzilla 90s Vs. Megalon: Megalon is weak against blunt attacks, so leave your edged attacks in the garage, unless you need a quicker attack to stop him. Try hitting Megalon with your tail uppercut; it's like he suddenly lost 20,000 tons or something. He must be on a damn effective diet... ??? Vs. Godzilla 2000: This is basically the same fight as against G90. His longer arms make him a little better at close combat, but the same attacks that you would use on Godzilla 90s will work on him. Godzilla 90s Vs. Gigan: Gigan can run and jump around faster than you can, but most of your attacks will hit faster than his. If he teleports behind you, tap A quickly to turn around and then smash him. Watch out if he gets a Rage power-up; his rage attack is deadlier than any other monster's. Godzilla 90s Vs. King Ghidorah: Remember that King Ghidorah is strong against blunt attacks, but takes regular damage from edged attacks. Your tail sweep or get-up attack won't trip him and make him fall like other monsters; instead it will make him act like his foot was stomped, which will still leave him open for a quick attack. If he starts flying, use your atomic breath(only if you have more than half the energy bar full) or fireball to shoot him down, or chuck a building at him to knock him down. Godzilla 90s Vs. Destroyer: Watch out for his laser blade. This is what makes fighting Destroyer so difficult sometimes. It is very hard to dodge, and will still hurt you if you block it, but blocking will at least keep you from being knocked down and left open to another attack. And when you block the initial hit, the blade won't hurt you after that, and Destroyer will still have to complete the attack, which will leave him open. He is a bit slower than you, so quick attacks work well. Watch out for his beam attack; the oxygen will draw you closer to Destroyer and the lightning will damage you. If you're caught in the oxygen, don't try to jump away, just block and stick it out. Godzilla 90s Vs. Rodan: He is weak against edged attacks, so use all your powerful edged attacks. Watch out for his grab; it has a longer range than anyone else's grab, except maybe Gigan or Orga. He can also fly, and has the fastest flying speed of all the flying monsters, so don't try and shoot him down; wait until he lands and then head after him. Godzilla 90s Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: Now you have to remember that Mecha King Ghidorah is strong against edged attacks, and takes regular damage from blunt attacks, so roll out all your powerful blunt attacks for this one. He also has the absorption shield, so don't make your attacks look so obvious. His tasers will drain your energy bar completely, so watch out for them. Throws work well, as do throwing buildings. Godzilla 90s Vs. MechaGodzilla: Almost the same deal as Mecha King Ghidorah. Strong against edged attacks, average damage from blunt attacks, and he can fly. However, his beam attack doesn't have as good of range as MKG's, and he's a bit slower. Like with MKG, leave your edged attacks out for this one. Also, watch out for his rockets; if each missile hits, you are in for a beating. Also, when you fight MechaGodzilla(or Mecha King Ghidorah) on the Mothership level, you start inside a barrier. If you feel brave, you can try fighting MechaGodzilla inside the barrier, but if you want to get the items outside, you can break the barrier so you can run around. See the things in between sections of barrier; those are the generators. Destroy one of those and the barrier will disappear. You can either attack it directly(which isn't recommended, because while you're focusing on the generator, MechaGodzilla will be focusing on you...although I have seen one rare case where MechaGodzilla attacked one of the generators), or you can throw MechaGodzilla at the generator. If the generator doesn't collapse, you threw him at it wrong. You know you threw him at it right when he gets slammed into it and the generator collapses. Godzilla 90s Vs. Orga: Like King Ghidorah, he is strong against blunt attacks, so leave those in the shed. Not much else I have to say, as far as strategy, other than watch out for his acid spit; it makes you dizzy. Anguirus Vs. Godzilla 90s: I don't know how to use Anguirus too well(his block is complicated). Your beam has a shorter range than his, so wait until you knock him down to use it. Anguirus Vs. Anguirus: You against yourself. You will both be hurt by each other's blocks, so watch when and where you attack. Other than that, not much strategy I have to offer. Anguirus Vs. Megalon: You mostly have edged attacks, but you have a few blunts as well. Your up-B and back-B moves are quite effective against him. Also, his drills won't protect him from your block(same with Gigan's blades). Anguirus Vs. Gigan: Like Megalon's drills, Gigan's blades will not protect him from your block. Aside from the fact that, again, his beam has a longer range than yours, not much strategy to offer. Anguirus Vs. King Ghidorah: Ghidorah won't be hurt by your block unless he kicks you; he'll just get pushed away. About your only advantage is that you are smaller and a bit faster than him, and most of your attacks are edged(he is strong against blunt). Anguirus Vs. Destroyer: Your block will not protect you from his laser blade. You're faster, though, and your block will hurt him if he tries a physical attack. Anguirus Vs. Rodan: You have plenty of edged attacks, so bring them out in full force. And since your block will hurt Rodan a bit more than the other monsters, you would have to suck pretty bad with Anguirus to lose here. Anguirus Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: Like King Ghidorah, he won't be hurt by your block, AND he is now strong against edged attacks, which is what you have more of, so this could be tough. Just remember which of Anguirus' moves are blunt, and stick with those. Throws work well, as do thrown buildings. Anguirus Vs. MechaGodzilla: Almost the same deal as MKG, except MechaGodzilla's projectile will drain your health instead of your energy. Like the Ghidorahs, he won't be hurt by your block, though he'll still take a tiny sliver of damage from it. Anguirus Vs. Orga: Now you finally have a couple advantages again. While your beam still has a shorter range than Orga's, he will be hurt by your block, and he's strong against blunt attacks, while you have more edged. He has few energy-based attacks aside from his beam, projectile, and Rage Attack, so your block will work well here. Megalon Vs. Godzilla 90s: Watch out for Godzilla's tail attacks(all of which are blunt), since you are now vulnerable to blunt attacks. His double hammerfist, charging headbutt, and all of his tail attacks will do a good chunk of damage to you. Since he has no strengths or weaknesses, just hit him with whatever you feel like. Be ready to block a lot, especially if you can see one of his blunt attacks coming. Megalon Vs. Anguirus: Anguirus has more edged attacks than blunt, so you don't have to do too much worrying here. However, your drills will not protect you from his block, so watch where you attack. Like Godzilla, he isn't especially vulnerable to anything, so when you do have an opportunity to attack, hit him with whatever suits you. Megalon Vs. Megalon: You against yourself. You both have about equal amounts of blunt and edged attacks. Use all your blunt attacks in this fight, and remember to block a lot, since you have the same weakness as he does. Megalon Vs. Gigan: This shouldn't be too much trouble, since Gigan has few blunt attacks. However, watch out for his Slugger; since it is very powerful(even against monsters who are resistant to blunt attacks), as well as blunt, it will knock you clear into next Tuesday if it hits. Megalon Vs. King Ghidorah: This could be tough, since Ghidorah seems to have more blunt attacks than edged, and he is resistant to blunt attacks, which means your uppercut won't work on him. Remember what your edged attacks are and stick with those. Also, WATCH OUT for his dive stomp; it's about as powerful as Gigan's Slugger, and if it hits, it will smash you straight to hell. Megalon Vs. Destroyer: Like with everyone else, watch out for his laser blade. Thankfully this time, he has no super-powerful blunt attack to whip on you. Megalon Vs. Rodan: You're weak against blunt, he's weak against edged. You both have some of both types of attacks, so use all your edged attacks for this one. Since he's the fastest flying monster, don't try to play Duck Hunt and shoot him down; wait for him to land and then go after him. Megalon Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: Almost the same strategy as the one with King Ghidorah applies here, except Mecha Ghidorah is now resistant to edged attacks, so your uppercut will work on him. Megalon Vs. MechaGodzilla: As with MKG, your uppercut will knock him upward, so try and work one in there for a combo setup. Aside from that, this fight will be hard since MechaGodzilla has more blunt attacks than edged. Megalon Vs. Orga: Oh, God...Orga is the king of blunt attacks, and that's just what you're weak against. You're going to have to be pretty damn good with Megalon to win this one. Leave your blunt attacks out, since Orga is strong against blunt attacks, and block a lot. Throw him a lot(your X throw works really good), and chucking buildings at him also works well. Godzilla 2000 Vs. ???: Godzilla 2000 is basically the same monster as Godzilla 90s, so refer to the "G90 Vs. ???" strategies. Gigan Vs. Godzilla 90s: Not much I can offer as far as strategies go. He has no strengths or weaknesses against any type of attack, and your beams have about the same range. Just hit him with everything you've got, especially your Slugger. Also, a good general tactic with Gigan is, if your energy is full enough(about somewhere between a third and a fourth full, I'm guessing), when you knock the opponent down, run over to them and use your Shotgun Blast. If all eight blasts hit, the enemy will take a good chunk of damage. Do this as often as you can to cause a hell of a lot of damage. It also works if you can back the enemy up against a building. This tactic will really help against the Mechas(MKG and MechaGodzilla). Gigan Vs. Anguirus: Like with Megalon's drills, your blades will not protect you from Anguirus' block. Your beam has a longer range than Anguirus', so take advantage of that. Aside from that, not much more strategy I can give. Gigan Vs. Megalon: You have few blunt attacks to use on Megalon, so don't worry if you have to throw an edged attack in there. Make damn good use of your Slugger, as well as your X throw. Gigan Vs. Gigan: You against yourself. Little strategy I can offer here; neither of you are strong or weak against anything, so just go all out against him. Gigan Vs. King Ghidorah: Ghidorah is strong against blunt attacks, and since you have mostly edged attacks, this shouldn't be too tough. His beam has a slightly longer range than yours, but that won't do much to help him. If he does have a big advantage over you, it's that he can fly. You also both have super-powerful blunt attacks, only yours will be less effective against him because of his resistance to blunt attacks, but oh well. Gigan Vs. Destroyer: Once again, I have little in the way of strategies and advantages or disadvantages, other than your beam has longer range than his, he has a laser blade, and he doesn't have a really powerful blunt attack like you. Gigan Vs. Rodan: Rodan is weak against edged attacks, and since that's what you specialize in, this match should be simple. Your Slugger will do a good heft of damage to him as well. Gigan Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: This...could be a problem. Whereas at least Megalon took average damage from edged attacks, MKG is now highly resistant to them, and since you have precious few blunts to use in this fight, you'll have to be pretty good with Gigan to win this. Just like the fight with King Ghidorah, you both have really powerful blunt attacks to use, only now yours will work just as well as his. Your X throw will be useful here, as well chucking buildings at him, since he can't absorb their damage. Gigan Vs. MechaGodzilla: Oi...this guy will also give you some trouble. Fortunately, his beam range is closer to yours, plus he doesn't have a super-powerful blunt attack like you, but he is also highly resistant to edged attacks, so you'll still have to be damn good with Gigan to win here. Use lots of throws(especially your X throw), and throw plenty of buildings at him. Gigan Vs. Orga: Like with King Ghidorah, since Orga is resistant to blunt attacks and you specialize in edged, this shouldn't be too hard. If you have to throw him a lot, try your B throw. King Ghidorah Vs. Godzilla 90s: You have several advantages over Godzilla. 1: You can fly. 2: You are resistant to blunt attacks. 3: Your beam has longer range than his. 4: You have a super-powerful blunt attack. His regular uppercut will knock you up, though, so watch out for it. King Ghidorah Vs. Anguirus: Your resistance to blunt attacks won't help as much in this battle since Anguirus seems to have more edged attacks than blunt. But to make up for that, you are partially invulnerable to his block. You simply get pushed away if you bite him with one of your heads, but if you try to kick him when he's blocking, you'll still get hurt. King Ghidorah Vs. Megalon: You seem to have more blunt attacks, which Megalon is vulnerable to, than edged attacks. And the fact that you have a really powerful blunt attack(the dive stomp) doesn't make things any easier for poor Megalon. Just smash him with all your powerful blunt attacks, especially the dive stomp. King Ghidorah Vs. Gigan: About the only reason you have to be careful in this fight is because you are resistant to blunt attacks, and Gigan has many more edged than blunt. You both have super-powerful blunt attacks, but yours will work better than his since he has no strengths or weaknesses to anything. Since you are bigger than most other monsters, watch out for his Shotgun Blast, especially if he gets you up against a building or knocks you down. King Ghidorah Vs. King Ghidorah: You against yourself. There really isn't much to say about this fight, since you're both the same monster. You can both fly, you're both resistant to blunt attacks, you both have a super-powerful blunt attack(which won't work as well on either of you as it would a different monster)..."use your edged attacks and kick his ass" just about sums up this fight. King Ghidorah Vs. Destroyer: Your beam has much greater range than Destroyer's, plus you can fly. He isn't strong or weak against anything, so just kick his ass...and watch out for his laser blade. King Ghidorah Vs. Rodan: You have more blunt than edged attacks, but Rodan still has lower defense than the other monsters, so not to worry. Whip all your edged attacks on him, as well as your dive stomp. King Ghidorah Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: The mechanized version of yourself. You have a couple advantages over him, though: he is resistant to edged attacks now, and you both have more blunt than edged. This also means that your dive stomp will work better on him than his will on you. Aside from that, not much strategy I have to offer. King Ghidorah Vs. MechaGodzilla: This is almost exactly the same fight as Mecha King Ghidorah, except MechaGodzilla doesn't have the absorption shield, and his projectile takes away your health, not your energy. One good way to avoid his rockets is wait until they get fairly close, then jump and fly so they go under you. Use all your blunt attacks for this fight...I need not mention the dive stomp.(crap, I just did) King Ghidorah Vs. Orga: This is almost the same fight as against King Ghidorah, except Orga can't fly, and he doesn't have a super-powerful blunt move. Just do what you did with Rodan, except don't fall back on your dive stomp as much. Destroyer Vs. Godzilla 90s: You are slower than most other monsters(except maybe MechaGodzilla), and you have a shorter beam range than most other monsters(except maybe Anguirus). However, you now have the almighty LASER BLADE OF DEATH, DESTRUCTION, AND OTHER REALLY BAD, NASTY STUFF. Just go all out on Godzilla, and make good use of the laser blade. Plus, a nice, cheap tactic is to vertical laser slash your enemy as soon as possible, run over to him, block his get-up attack, grab him and walk around with him while your energy recharges itself, then use your A or X throw, run over and vertical laser slash him as much as you can, block his get-up attack, and repeat the process. I don't prefer fighting so cheaply, though. Destroyer Vs. Anguirus: His block will hurt you, but it won't protect him from your laser blade. Like with Godzilla, just kick his ass, but be more careful where you attack. Destroyer Vs. Megalon: Like with every other monster before, put your blunt attacks to work for this fight. Aside from that, not much strategy to this fight. Destroyer Vs. Gigan: Neither of you have any strengths or weaknesses, and you have the mighty laser blade, so just go to town, and remember that he has a longer beam range than you, plus he has the Slugger attack. Destroyer Vs. King Ghidorah: You have about an equal amount of blunt and edged attacks, so bring your edged attacks out for this, as well as the laser blade(which should be common sense by now). Remember that like Gigan, he has a longer beam range and a super-powerful blunt attack, plus he can fly. Destroyer Vs. Destroyer: You against yourself. Neither of you have any strengths or weaknesses, and you both have the destructive laser blade. Just hit him with everything you've got. A good tactic is to use your Oxygen Absorber, and then quickly use your vertical laser slash while he's down. Destroyer Vs. Rodan: Your laser blade will really take a chunk out of Rodan's health. Aside from that, use your edged attacks a lot. Destroyer Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: This time, remember to use your blunt attacks, not your edged. Also remember that his absorption shield will absorb the damage from all of your attacks, even the laser blade. Destroyer Vs. MechaGodzilla: Again, use your blunt attacks. Since he doesn't have an absorption shield, go all out with your laser blade. Destroyer Vs. Orga: Like with King Ghidorah, use your edged attacks. I needn't remind you about the, um, attack that begins with an "l" and ends with an "e." Rodan Vs. Godzilla 90s: Before we start, remember that you now have the lowest defensive strength of all the monsters. All attacks will do more damage to you, especially edged attacks. However, you can fly, AND your flying speed is the fastest, plus your grab reaches the farthest. Be ready to block a lot. Rodan Vs. Anguirus: Even though Anguirus doesn't have as many blunt as he does edged, this fight still isn't too tough, even on Hard. He mostly uses his Anguirus The Hedgehog, which can easily be blocked and countered, plus your beam has greater range than his, and you can fly, but don't think you're invincible. You're still Rodan, and he could still whip a nice strong edged attack on you if you aren't careful. Rodan Vs. Megalon: You're weak against edged, he's weak against blunt. Turn all your blunt attacks on him for this. Rodan Vs. Gigan: I was expecting pure hell in this fight. I wound up giving Gigan pure hell instead. This fight may seem tough on paper(you're weak against edged, he's the king of edged, he has a super-powerful attack), but it still isn't that hard, unless you suck with Rodan. Don't get cocky, though; he can still open up a can of whoop-ass if you don't pay attention to his moves. Rodan Vs. King Ghidorah: You seem to have more edged attacks than blunt, and Ghidorah seems to have more blunt than edged, so this shouldn't be too hard. Your regular uppercut won't knock him up, but your flip kick(Up + B) will. He can fly too, but you can fly faster. Rodan Vs. Destroyer: Oi...this could be tough if you aren't careful. He has the laser blade, but you can fly. However, you're weak against edged, and he has an ample amount of those. Just play it by ear, watch his moves, and be wary of his laser blade. Rodan Vs. Rodan: You against yourself. You seem to have more edged attacks than blunt, so make good use of those. Aside from that, not much strategy I have to offer... Rodan Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: You seem to have fewer blunt attacks than edged, but no matter. Mecha King Ghidorah takes regular damage from blunt attacks, which means your uppercut will work on him. Like with King Ghidorah, you can fly circles around him in the air. Rodan Vs. MechaGodzilla: MechaGodzilla has fewer edged attacks than Mecha King Ghidorah, but they are no less powerful. Aside from no absorption shield and rockets instead of tasers, this is basically the same fight as with MKG. Rodan Vs. Orga: Oh, God...Even though Orga is the king of blunt attacks, he still gave me hell in this fight. Your get-up attack is too slow, and doesn't knock him far enough away(at least not without a Rage power-up), giving him ample time to smash you when you get back up). This match doesn't sound too hard on paper(you have more edged than he does, your beam seems to have longer range than his, you're weak against edged, which he has fewer of, you can fly), but trust me; play this match once, and you'll quickly learn that what's on paper doesn't mean jack most of the time. Mecha King Ghidorah Vs. Godzilla 90s: Thankfully now the matches will start getting easier, since you are now one of the best monsters in the game, IMO. If he's using his atomic breath too much, and you don't have enough energy for your absorption shield(it uses energy at a slower rate than a monster's beam weapon), hit him with one of your tasers; it'll drain all his energy and he'll be stunned for about one-and-a-third seconds, leaving him open to attack. Aside from that, use the same strategy you would with King Ghidorah, except remember that you now take regular damage from blunt attacks and are resistant to edged. Mecha King Ghidorah Vs. Anguirus: Anguirus seems to have more edged than blunt. Add to that the fact that you are nearly invulnerable to his block, and things aren't looking very bright for poor Angie. Just smash him up the same way you did with King Ghidorah. Mecha King Ghidorah Vs. Megalon: This is almost the same strategy, except now all his blunt attacks will do regular damage to you, which means his uppercut will knock you up. You still have your dive stomp, though, so not to worry. Mecha King Ghidorah Vs. Gigan: Gigan has no chance in hell against you. The bulk of his attacks are edged, and you're resistant to edged, so just kick his ass any way you can, and remember to either absorb his beam, or taser him if he's using it too much. Mecha King Ghidorah Vs. King Ghidorah: The un-mechanized version of yourself. And he has an advantage over you; since you're resistant to edged attacks, his blunt attacks will do regular damage to you, especially his dive stomp. You are the better Ghidorah, however. Stick with mostly your double lunge bite, tail attacks, etc. Throws work well. Mecha King Ghidorah Vs. Destroyer: Destroyer isn't much of a match for you. Even his laser blade can't break through your absorption shield, so if you see him using it, block, then quickly smash or grab him. Aside from that, not much strategy here. He can still be a pain on the higher difficulties, but you know that by now. Mecha King Ghidorah Vs. Rodan: He is overall faster than you(especially in the air), but that isn't going to save him. His uppercut will knock you up, though, so watch out for it. You still have many advantages over him(you're resistant to edged, he's weak against edged, your beam is longer than his, your block gives you more health). Mecha King Ghidorah Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: You against yourself. This could be a tricky fight, since he has all the same abilities you do. He can drain all your energy(leaving your absorption shield useless), and he can absorb the damage from your attacks to regain his health. Be selective about when and where you strike, and try to fight from a medium distance(at least) so you can see his tasers coming. Only use your tasers when he's close, so they'll be more likely to hit. Mecha King Ghidorah Vs. MechaGodzilla: Mecha against Mecha. Be sure to drain his energy when you can, to keep him from using his plasma attacks. His rockets can be absorbed, so save your energy while he's still got them. You're both resistant to edged attacks, so leave those in the garage, unless you feel like showing off. Mecha King Ghidorah Vs. Orga: Almost the same deal as King Ghidorah, except Orga can't fly, and he doesn't have the dive stomp. Even though your dive stomp will still knock him down(it's that powerful), leave most of your blunt attacks out for this one. Not much else to say. MechaGodzilla Vs. Godzilla 90s: The fleshy version of yourself. When you hit him with your uppercut, use your rockets immediately after; when Godzilla gets up, most of them, if not all of them, will nail him, taking a nice chunk of his health out. MechaGodzilla Vs. Anguirus: Your solid metal body will protect you completely from Anguirus' block, but even so, if you attack senselessly while he blocks, you will still be hurt. Since he has more edged than blunt, this shouldn't be much of a problem. MechaGodzilla Vs. Megalon: You have a nice amount of blunt attacks, and since that's what poor Megalon is weak against, things aren't looking too bright for him. Just smash him with all your powerful blunt attacks, and remember to run away when he goes underground, and you shouldn't have any problems. MechaGodzilla Vs. Gigan: Gigan is going to die. The majority of his attacks are edged, and you're resistant to edged, so this fight shouldn't be any problem. MechaGodzilla Vs. King Ghidorah: This might actually be a bit of a challenge, since you don't have too many edged attacks, and Ghidorah seems to have more blunt than edged. Throws work well here, as do chucking buildings at him. MechaGodzilla Vs. Destroyer: You aren't any more protected from his laser blade than any other monster, but the laser blade is about the only advantage that Destroyer has over you. You can fly, you have a powerful projectile, and your beam has longer range than his. So just kick his ass, but watch out if he gets a Rage Power-Up. MechaGodzilla Vs. Rodan: Rodan might be weaker than the other monsters, but don't get cocky. Though he seems to have more edged attacks than blunt, he is still faster than you(especially in the air). Still, you are stronger, and your simple B attack is enough to knock him down. MechaGodzilla Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: You both seem to have more blunt attacks than edged, and you can both fly at the same speed. His beam has a longer range than yours, but oh well. MechaGodzilla Vs. MechaGodzilla: You against yourself. You both have mostly blunt attacks, and you're both resistant to edged, not blunt. This is more or less the same fight as against Mecha King Ghidorah, so I have little strategy to give here. MechaGodzilla Vs. Orga: Orga is basically a King Ghidorah who can't fly. This might actually be a challenge, since he has plenty of blunt attacks, and you don't have that many edged attacks to use. You can fly, but other than that, you don't have that many advantages over Orga. Use throws a lot here. Orga Vs. Godzilla 90s: His beam seems to have a longer range than yours, and he has more edged attacks than you, but you seem to have greater attack strength, so don't worry too much here. All your attacks will work equally well on Godzilla, so just kick his ass. Orga Vs. Anguirus: Your beam has a longer range than his, but his block will hurt you. Throws work well here, and your X throw is an excellent combo setup. Orga Vs. Megalon: Megalon is walking to his own funeral...if you lose this, turn the game off and play hopscotch or something. You are the king of blunt attacks, and whaddya know, that's just what Meggie is weak against. Your simple A attack will send Megalon spinning head over heels, and your beam has greater range than his, so just whip his ass. Game. Set. Match. Orga Vs. Gigan: He has a lot of edged attacks to use on you, but this still shouldn't be too hard, unless you just suck with Orga. His beam has a longer range than yours, but that won't help him much. Orga Vs. King Ghidorah: This is basically the flying version of you. You both have more blunt than edged, and you're both resistant to blunt. Your edged attacks seem to be stronger than Ghidorah's, but he seems to have more of them, plus he can fly and his beam is longer than yours. Throws work well here. Orga Vs. Destroyer: Let's see here...your advantages: resistance to blunt attacks, longer beam range. His advantages: laser blade, more edged attacks than you, harder-to-avoid Rage Attack. My strategy: kick his ass and keep him away from the Rage Power-Ups. Orga Vs. Rodan: You don't have as many edged attacks as he does, but your attack strength seems to be greater than the other monsters', and Rodan's overall defense is lower than the other monsters'. Kick his ass, seabass. Orga Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah: This is an easier fight than King Ghidorah, since MKG now takes regular damage from blunt attacks. Now that you can use all your blunt attacks, just whip MKG's ass, and remember that he can still fly and his beam still has more range than yours. Orga Vs. MechaGodzilla: Again, this is almost the same fight as Mecha King Ghidorah, except MechaGodzilla seems to have fewer edged attacks, and your beam ranges are closer to each other. Orga Vs. Orga: You against yourself. You're both resistant to blunt attacks, you both have a lot of blunt attacks. Unlike King Ghidorah, Orga can't fly, and he doesn't have a super-powerful blunt attack to use. Just use the few edged moves you have, and remember to mix in a throw or a thrown building. 8) Adventure Mode This section lists the opponents you fight with each monster in Adventure mode, in the order you fight them, as well as the arenas you fight them in. The last fight will always take place in the Mothership level. Note: Godzilla 90s' and Godzilla 2000's opponents are not fought in the same order, and after all the monsters are unlocked, they don't even have the same lineup of opponents. Hidden monsters, extra levels, gallery items. Not much else to say here, so... Hidden Monsters Godzilla 2000(beat game with Godzilla 90s) Gigan(beat game with Anguirus) King Ghidorah(beat game with Megalon) Destroyer(beat game with Godzilla 2000) Rodan(beat game with Gigan) Mecha King Ghidorah(beat game with King Ghidorah) MechaGodzilla(beat game with Destroyer, Rodan, and Mecha King Ghidorah) Orga(after unlocking all other monsters, beat game again with Godzilla 2000; you'll know you did everything right if you fight Orga in the fifth round) Extra Levels Seattle(beat Adventure mode with Mecha King Ghidorah) South Seattle(beat Adventure mode with King Ghidorah) Tokyo(beat Adventure mode with Mecha King Ghidorha) Tokyo 3(beat Adventure mode with Godzilla 90s) San Francisco(beat Adventure mode with MechaGodzilla) North San Francisco(beat Adventure mode with Anguirus) Los Angeles(beat Adventure mode with Destroyer) Los Angeles 3(beat Adventure mode with Gigan) London(beat Adventure mode with Rodan) London 3(beat Adventure mode with Megalon) Osaka(beat Adventure Mode with Destroyer) West Osaka(beat Adventure mode with Godzilla 2000) Monster Island(beat Adventure mode with Rodan) Mothership(beat Adventure mode with MechaGodzilla) Now, you only really have to "beat" Adventure mode to earn a few of those cities. Most of them, you can just fight to the fourth round with a monster, win the fourth round, and then you earn a city. The monsters you have to beat Adventure mode with to earn a city are Destroyer, Rodan, Mecha King Ghidorah, and MechaGodzilla, as evidenced by the fact that there are two cities each which have "(beat Adventure mode with Destroyer/Rodan/Mecha King Ghidorah/MechaGodzilla)" after them. Gallery Items To unlock these, play Adventure mode on Normal or Hard difficulty. Occasionally, when you destroy a building, an Atari symbol will pop up in a beam of white light; pick this up to unlock a gallery item, then save after you win the match. Unless it's the last match, you can either quit the game and check the gallery item out, or keep playing to try and earn more. Now, here are the descriptions of each gallery item. Item 1: Anguirus in four different poses, one of which is a wireframe.
